Meghan Markle to follow Kate Middleton; will attend only a few engagements until autumn
Reports suggest that Meghan Markle will follow what Kate Middleton did and will attend only a few selected royal engagements until autumn when she will be back for her royal duty calls.
If the reports doing the rounds of the Buckingham Palace are to be believed then the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, won't be returning to her royal duty calls until autumn. But, it is believed that Meghan will follow what the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton did after she delivered her children with respect to her royal duties. Meghan Markle is said to go by Kate Middleton's choice of attending only a select few royal engagements until autumn when she is expected to return to fulfill her royal duties.
Meghan, 37, the Duchess of Sussex, is currently on maternity leave after the birth of her son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor last month but has managed to make an appearance at the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Saturday. All of the royal fans were hoping that after the royal engagement Meghan would be officially back to work soon. But, Vanity Fair's royal correspondent Katie Nicholl quips that the Duchess will be on maternity leave until fall.
This should not upset the fans of the Duchess of Sussex, as she is expected to return to her duties by this October. After the birth of Prince Louis, Kate Middleton had appeared only in a select few royal calls, that included the annual Trooping the Colour. The Duchess of Cambridge was in attendance at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in May last year, which was just three weeks after she delivered Prince Louis. The recent Trooping the Colour ceremony was Meghan's second appearance after Archie's birth and also it was Prince Louis' first ever royal engagement.
