Kanye West gets candid about his sex addiction; says he drowned himself in it

Kanye West is a new man! Ahead of the release of his album, Jesus is King, the rapper got candid with Zane Lowe for Apple Music Beats 1, where he spoke passionately about his political beliefs, spirituality and current relationship with his family. However, the major talking point from the interview was the rapper getting candid about his addiction to sex. Kanye started off by revealing that thanks to his father's Playboy magazine, his p*** addiction kicked in and that too at the tender age of just five.

"From age five til now, having to kick the habit and it just presents itself in the open like it's ok and I stand up and say, 'No, it's not ok,'" West confessed. Furthermore, the 42-year-old rapper shared that according to him, when people are addicted to something, you tend to turn it off and not let go completely. He's been able to beat things that had full control of him because of God. The Playboy magazine Kanye found at five was perfectly symbolised at the moment during the MTV awards with "the Timberlands, the Balmain jeans, before people was rocking Balmain jeans, and the Hennessy bottle."

"It's like that was such a script out of a rockstar's life. My mom had passed a year before and I said some people drown themselves in drugs. And I drowned myself in my addiction [to sex]," West revealed.

It wasn't just that Kanye was addicted to sex, he was addicted to the "inspiration" behind it, like a design image. The design image being a car image, a house image. The rapper got addicted to these images.

Another big addiction for him was work; giving an example of men and women who work so hard to provide a better life for their kids but then they realise, they haven't spent their life with their kids.
