Justin Bieber states he's 'always homies' with Taylor Swift inspite of taking Scooter Braun's side in the rift

Back in June 2019, Taylor Swift had penned a passionate, scathing Tumblr blog about her outrage on knowing that Scooter Braun would be acquiring Big Machine Records, that released all of the singer's albums prior to Lover. This meant that Scooter would own all her records. T-Swift also called out Justin Bieber, who Braun manages, for partaking in bullying her via social media. In response, Justin had taken his manager's side and hit back at Taylor for her comments.

"Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you," Justin wrote in a long Instagram post and added, "So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on Scooter isn't fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? Seems to me like it was to get sympathy. You also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully Scooter." However, the I Don't Care singer now has a different mentality towards the entire controversy. According to Entertainment Tonight, some paparazzi caught up with Bieber asking him what his current equation with Taylor was post the rift.

Taking about how everything is cool between the two singers, Bieber simply said, "Always homies. I'm done with all that other stuff. Other people's drama is not my drama."

Meanwhile, Justin recently released a wedding song in collaboration with Dan+Shay titled 10,000 Hours, in honour of his second wedding ceremony with Hailey Baldwin, the latter of which appeared in the romantic music video as well.
