Reacting to the controversy, Scooter stated that the truth always comes out and he's confident in that. Read below to know more about what Braun had to say on the same.
Back in July 2019, Taylor Swift had shocked everyone with her scathing Tumblr blog on Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber's manager. Regarding Scooter taking over Big Machine Records, which had released all of Taylor's studio albums as well as had ownership of her masters, before Lover. Calling it her worst nightmare, the You Need To Calm Down singer could not believe that a day would come when Braun would own her records. While musicians like Justin and Demi Lovato took Scooter's side, Taylor got support from the likes of Camila Cabello and Halsey.
Talking about being embroiled in the T-Swift controversy is Braun who spoke Tony Gonzalez's Wide Open podcast. Bieber's manager shared that he went through some drama recently and when he put his phone down, looked at his friends and family, he felt that he was good and happy. Even if it means people question your integrity. Talking about the online hatred, Scooter stated that it's hard when he got attacked which was not based on any truth while for the other person, it may be based on truth "but they don't have all the information."
@taylorswift, I’m here to talk privately anytime.
Braun shared that he is always open to communication and having a conversation in case of a misunderstanding. However, according to him, not everyone is willing to do that and he can't go through life thinking that he's going to be friends and everyone is going to like him.
"I don't do anything with malicious intent. I try to do things above board. I try to do the right thing. Not everyone’s gonna be happy with everything that you do. And I think in the long-term, I’ve learned this over time, the truth always comes out, and I’m confident in that," Scooter confessed and added, "As long as the people that I love and respect are my compass, that's the direction I am gonna go."
