The film Joker which will be hitting the big screen on October 4 is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. Joker is helmed by director Todd Phillips. During an interview with Total Film, the director of Joker, Todd Phillips admitted that he is ready to work alongside Joaquin Phoenix for any kind of film. The director also hinted at a possible sequel to the film Joker, but with one particular condition. The well known director can make a sequel to the film with the title Joker 2, but only if Joaquin Phoenix stars as the lead actor.
The director adds that the film's sequel is only possible if Joaquin Phoenix dons the avatar of the Joker in the film's sequel. Joaquin Phoenix is gearing up for the release of the film Joker on October 4. The Joker's character is seen causing a havoc in the city of Gotham, as the ruthless clown killer, dressed as the Joker. The director Todd Phillips also said during the interview that Warner Brothers representative spoke to them about a possible sequel to the film. Joker's director Todd Phillips added that he will surely try to think of something unique for Joker 2's story.
Todd candidly admitted that the film needs to have a robust story line which will compel the film audience to come and watch the film in the theatres. The film Joker will feature some excellent scenes with CGI work. The film's budget is roughly estimated to be around 55 million dollars. Joaquin Phoenix essays the role of Arthur Fleck, a man who is ignored by all in his surroundings.
