DC fans can rejoice as the solo movie on the most iconic villain Joker will be out soon. A few hours ago, Warner Bros. released the first poster of one of the most awaited movies of the year- Joker. The stand-alone movie on Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix in the titular the movie will trace how Arthur Fleck gets disregarded by the society and how he becomes Joker.

The poster showcases Joker looking into the sky with his makeup like a clown on. Last year, the director of the film Todd Phillips had shared a screen test of Phoenix in Joker makeup. Todd took to his Instagram to share the movie's poster, he captioned the same as, "Teaser trailer tomorrow. #JokerMovie." Take a look at the first Joker poster below!"

Talking about the movie, unlike the last few DCEU movies, Joker will be darker and R rated. And apart from Oscar-nominated Phoenix, the movie also stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz and Marc Maron. The movie which is set against the background of 80s will be a cop thriller and is all set to release on October 4. There are no reports on whether Joker will get a sequel or no.
