Ian Somerhalder turned 41 on December 8, 2019. He is famous for portraying the role of Damon Salvatore on the fantasy series The Vampire Diaries. The Vampire Diaries aired from 2009 to 2017. Fans were sad when the show ended, but they did get another spin off to the show, The Originals. Ian as Damon Salvatore is truly amazing.
The Vampire Diaries revolves around two Vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon, falling in love with Elena, who is a look a like of the girl they loved in the past, Katherine. The show unfolds the mystery of how they become vampires, how they fall in love, etc. The story captures everything perfectly that fans still rewatch the show. Damon Salvatore is the main antagonist at the beginning of the show but changes when he falls in love with Elena Gilbert.

1] He tells Elena he loves her but compels her to forget
Knowing that she is still his brother’s girlfriend, he doesn’t want to be selfish. That was the very moment fans fell for him.
2] Damon just wanted to be appreciated
Even if it meant taking a compliment from Barbie Klaus.
3] When he was missing his best friend
