While the rest of the world was engrossed in watching the Super Bowl, the teen hit show The Vampire Diaries’ former co-stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley reunited this weekend for a double date with their significant others! Elena from the show aka Nina was joined by her boyfriend Shaun White, while Paul was with his wife Ines de Ramon.
The four friends went on a snowboarding trip at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming over the weekend according to their Instagram activity. Both Nina and Pual took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of their fun weekend getaway. “sometimes you gotta double down,” Nina captioned a photo on her Instagram account. Paul wrote on his post, “My kind of superbowl Sunday W/ @nina @shaunwhite @inesdrmn.”
If you haven’t seen the hit show yet, the duo was known for their insatiable chemistry on The Vampire Diaries, but their romance ended when Nina‘s character fell in love with his older brother Damon, played by Ian Somerhalder. If you didn’t know, Nina and Ian dated for a while in real life as well.
If you didn’t know, this is not the first time Nina has hung out with Paul Wesley in real life, back in September 2020 the duo met for a puppy date at home. The 31-year-old actress shared a group photo of her and dog Mrs. Maverick with Paul, his wife Ines de Ramon and their dog on Instagram. “hard to teach a buncha old dawgs new tricks #puppyplaydate,” Nina captioned the shot with a funny pun. She added another in the comments, writing, “a Dobrev and Do(g)brev Wesley sandwich.” The last time Paul and Nina publicly reunited was to address rumors of their feud on the set of The Vampire Diaries.
