Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas surprised the world when they secretly got married in Las Vegas.
As we all know that Nick Jonas’ brother, Joe Jonas and his longtime girlfriend and GOT star Sophie Turner, secretly got married in Las Vegas a few months back. According to reports, DJ Diplo live-streamed Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's secret wedding. In no time, the news of DJ Diplo live-streaming their wedding became the talk of the town. Later, when the groom aka Joe Jonas was asked to comment on it, he had jokingly said that Diplo ruined his wedding. . It all started when Joe Jonas had made an appearance on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, and he had said that Diplo ruined his wedding. “Diplo did. Yeah, he ruined it. I love Diplo, but he loves his Gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally live-streamed with dog face filters. We just laughed. We loved it. We thought it was ridiculous,” Joe said.
However, DJ Diplo had something very interesting to say via his Instagram post as he wrote, “the only thing that ‘ruined’ the wedding was your fit”. Not just this, during a recent interview, DJ Diplo said that he didn't ruin his wedding as he informed his fans that post the wedding, Joe Jonas even called him and apologised as his statements were blown out of proportion.
Furthermore, Diplo added that he had no idea that it was a serious wedding and that is why he just recorded it casually adding that there were many people with cameras and that he wasn’t the only one recording the ‘secret’ wedding. Soon after the wedding, Sophie revealed that the couple had been planning the US wedding for a while before they actually walked into the Las Vegas chapel. And explaining the sudden decision to get married, Sophie explained that due to the rising number of divorces, getting a marriage license is not so easy these days, and therefore, they had to plan their wedding. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married in a secret wedding ceremony a few hours after the Billboard Music Awards 2019.
