Grey’s Anatomy has been on Television for the longest time. Currently, the medical drama is airing Season 16. The show has two spin-off series Station 19 and Private Practice. Grey's Anatomy revolves around a bunch of surgical interns who make their way towards becoming surgeons. The show is titled by one of the show’s leads Ellen Pompeo’s character Meredith Grey. The plot of the show including the characters on the show have gone through many changes.
There are many characters who have left the show or were cut off from the show. One of them was Chyler Leigh who played Lexie Grey, Meredith’s half-sister. She was first introduced in the third season as a guest star when the original interns became residents. Her character was then developed into the series regular till season 8 where her character was tragically killed off in a plane crash. Mark Sloan aka Eric Dane played her love interest in the show.
