After the massive success of Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island, Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Pictures are all set to release Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The international movie will hit the theatres this weekend. It stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown and others in the lead. While everyone is excited about the movie, Godzilla II star O'Shea Jackson Jr. confessed he was "nerding out" when he reached the sets. During a press interaction, O'Shea Jackson Jr. (also known by his stage name OMG) spoke about his connection with the Godzilla series.

The oldest son of rapper Ice Cube plays a member of the military Godzilla II : King of the Monsters. The actor revealed that he has been a huge fan of the monster. He revealed he has watched many movies that have featured the radioactive beast.

“I was nerding out really hard,” he confesses when he talks about his on set experience.  “You don’t have anything else terrorizing cities like Godzilla does. He is dominating and destroying, but he’s saving too.  Speaking as a true fan, I always hated those humans who acted like Godzilla didn’t just save their ass. This’ll be the first Godzilla movie where I actually care about the humans," he said. "Mike is my guy, man,” says Jackson.  “I’m foaming at the mouth to see this.  I’m sending him texts, ‘What’s it like?’  He’s like ‘It’s Christmas every day,’” he said.

Directed by Michael Dougherty, the film follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed Ghidorah.

Alongside O'Shea Jackson Jr, the cast includes Ken Watanbe, Charles Dance, etc. The film is set to release pan India by Warner Bros. Pictures in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on May 30, a day before its US release.
