A brand new poster of Godzilla: King of the Monsters is out and the same shows one of the iconic moments from the movie. In the same, we can see the King himself standing in the middle of the ocean and piercing the sky with his famous atomic breath. He is surrounded by ships and aircraft. The whole poster is dipped in pale blue and also features the tagline- Long live the King. The poster also gives a better glimpse into his scaly exterior.

As per director Michael Dougherty, the shot is a key moment. He also said that this scene is “a very key moment and it’s a sort of call to arms.” Apparently, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah, all will feature in the sequel alongside Godzilla.

The human cast includes many new additions such as Millie Bobby Brown, Thomas Middleditch, Ziyi Zhang and O'Shea Jackson Jr among others. Check out the poster right here:

Dougherty who is known for his horror movie Krampus said, "The world is reacting to Godzilla in the same way we would react to any other terrifying incident, in that we are overreacting”. He further added, "Godzilla hasn’t been seen since that destructive finale, but there’s paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we’re threatened by others like his kind." Godzilla: King of the Monsters is all set to release on May 31, 2019.
