The Battle between the dead and alive has reached Winterfell on Game of Thrones season 8. Yes, Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 will keep GoT fans on the edge as the Battle of Winterfell, between the living and White Walkers unfolds. There is no doubt the HBO show will include some jaw-dropping and heartbreaking twists through the 80 minutes episode. While we prepare to witness some deaths, a new fan theory speculates Bran's fate in the upcoming episode.
A new theory is doing the rounds suggesting that Bran will turn into a White Walker to beat the Night King. That's not all. The theory also adds that Bran will change into the Night King with the help of Theon Greyjoy. Mindboggling, isn't it?
The theory crowns Theon, who went through a transition through the seven Game of Thrones seasons, will be the Prince Who Was Promised.
The fan speculation outlines, "Bran & Theon, The Princes of Winterfell, will unite at the Weirwood to turn Bran into a WW who will be able to defeat the NK and end the Long Night."
If they get through, everyone dies #ForTheThrone.
The Reddit post explains, "I believe that Bran has figured out how to wield the ultimate weapon against the NK: himself. Bran has a master plan and he is going to start putting it into action in episode 3 when he arranges to have Theon turn him into a White Walker at the weirwood in Winterfell! With powers of greensight, warning, AND the vast knowledge of the 3ER Bran could turn into a WW with the same powers of the Night King. In fact, he may be able to be more powerful that the NK."
"This might allow Bran to warg or control the Ice Dragon and/or WW & wights. My guess is that he will be able to. He will be key in taking out the Night King by interrupting or challenging the NK’s powerful abilities of warging," the theory added.
"Bran will need to sacrifice himself after his transition because the NK controls the WW. He enslaves them. They are a slave army bound to him through dark magic just as the Night King is enslaved through magic to the COTF," the compelling theory says.
"Bran was the beginning of the story and he will be the end of the story. Our series will have closure for the plight of the WW and the Night King. The next series will provide the origins," the post reads.
