Game of Thrones Season 8: 5 takeaways from new stills of episode 3

Game of Thrones Season 8 premiered on April 14, 2019, and the first two episodes were filled with emotional reunions. Whether it be Jon Snow and Arya Stark or even Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy, episode 1 and 2 was a precursor for the biggest battle of them all; Battle of Winterfell, between Jon Snow's army and The Night King's Dead Army. This 80-minute episode is going to be a spectacular visual presentation that is sure to leave GOT fans in awe.

New stills from season 8 episode 3 of Game of Thrones are finally out and give us a tiny glimpse on what we can expect from the upcoming battle. We get to see Ser Brienne of Tarth all geared up for battle as Jamie Lannister sticks by her side. We also see a very emotional Sansa Stark, who seems to be mourning someone's death (maybe Theon?) while Jon Snow's frightened yet brave expression is something we should definitely look forward to. Tyrion's worried expression inside the crypt is a picture worth a thousand words.

Ser Brienne of Tarth's Death

All your favourite characters in GOT are already dead or will die soon and on top of the list could be the beloved Brienne. Another alternative could be either Jamie Lannister or Tormund Gianstbane saving Brienne and dying instead.

Sansa Stark Mourning Someone's Death

Another character who could die during the battle is Theon Greyjoy. Seeing Sansa's emotional expression suggests the same speculation.

Tyrion Lannister To Mess Things Up 

Keeping Tyrion inside the crypt is a bad idea and we can only imagine how his head is turning as the battle takes place above him.

Jon Snow's Encounter With The Night King

Jon Snow is going to play a very important role during the battle and to see his encounter with The Night King is going to be epic beyond proportions.

Jon Snow And Daenerys Targaryen's Conflict of Interest

Jon revealed his true Targaryen heritage to Dany in episode 2. We can expect a conflict of interest between the two mostly during the battle.
