Game of Thrones: Emilia Clarke recalls Kit Harington's EMOTIONAL reaction to Daenerys Targaryen's fate

Emilia Clarke became a household name for her iconic portrayal of the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. Since 2011, Khaleesi has managed to worm her way into a million hearts and Emilia's brilliant performance is the reason for it. *SPOILERS ALERT* Hence, our hearts broke when we saw Khaleesi die in the last episode of Game of Thrones, just as she was to finally claim the Iron Throne. What was even more brutal was that it was her lover, Jon Snow, who did the murderous deed. 

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Emilia got candid about Kit's reaction to finding out that it was Jon who would be killing Dany. During the table read, Harington had not yet read the script and would be reading it for the first time. When the pair reached to the final sequence of Jon and Dany, Kit recalled, "I looked at Emilia and there was a moment of me realizing, 'No, no…'" To this, Emilia quietly responded, "Yes..." "He was crying and then it was kind of great him not having read it," Clarke shared.

Emilia revealed that she too was shocked with finding out what happens to her character's fate and could only think, "WHAT?" The actress never saw that coming from a mile away. Clarke shared, "I cried and I went for a walk. I walked out of the house and took my keys and phone and walked back with blisters on my feet. I didn’t come back for five hours. I’m like, 'How am I going to do this?'"
