Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock would love to star in Deadpool 3 alongside Hobbs & Shaw co star Ryan Reynolds
Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld feels that Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock should join the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as Garrison Kane in a future Deadpool installment. The Rock recently worked with Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds in Hobbs & Shaw, which was directed by David Leitch, director of Deadpool 2.
In what came as a major surprise for many, Ryan Reynolds had an epic cameo in Hobbs & Shaw as CIA Agent Locke, an old associate of Luke Hobbs (The Rock). Funnily enough, Locke has a man-crush on Luke and their sequences were one of the funniest in Hobbs & Shaw. While the duo is already doing a movie together with Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, we'd love to see more of this chemistry in future movies. Preferably, Deadpool 3!? And, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld agrees as well!
In an Instagram post, Rob explains that The Rock should join the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as Garrison Kane, as he would be a natural at it. "Dearest @therock based on reports of outstanding chemistry between you and a familiar friend, I believe the next logical step is for you to join the Marvel Universe as Garrison Kane in a future Deadpool installment," Liefeld wrote. In response, The Rock tweeted back, "Dearest Rob, thank you, amigo. It’s true, in @HobbsAndShaw, I have insanely outstanding chemistry with our familiar friend. Since you created the characters, how does one Garrison Kane get alone with one."

Meanwhile, the fan theory mill is rife that Ryan's character Locke, in Hobbs & Shaw, is the mastermind and head of Eteon. However, we will have to wait and see in future installments of the Fast & the Furious franchise if the theories are indeed true.
