Dear MCU fans, Avengers: Endgame does NOT have a post credits scene but you should stay back for THIS reason

It has become a tradition for Marvel fans to remain seated after the movie ends and the credits start to roll. For ten years, we've made sure we sit tight until the last name of the crew has been announced to catch an extra scene attached to it. There have been some memorable scenes attached to the movie. Remember the famous Shawarma scene in The Avengers? Or the Bucky surprise in the post-credits of Black Panther? Well, that won't be the case with Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame is breaking away from the ten-year tradition of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Our hearts break while reporting this. The Russo Brothers directorial movie does not feature a post-credits scene. Yes, there isn't going to be a scene teasing the movie or the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This is the first time that an MCU movie will not feature a post-credits scene. The last scene before the end credits start is the last scene of the film Avengers: Endgame.

Several reviews have confirmed that Kevin Feige has broken this tradition to show that it is the end to the 10-year-long journey of the core Avengers. Fans will be a tad disappointed since there were expectations that they might see a recreation of the Shawarma scene or even a tease at the X-Men entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While it breaks our hearts, there is still one reason behind to stay back until the end credits finish. It has been revealed that two special credits sequences have been added to the final scene. One clip is a tribute to the original six members of the Avengers team: Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner aka Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), ScreenRant revealed.

The second is an audio cue. Not revealing it because we don't want to spoil it for you.

Even after these two clips, a true blue Marvel fan shouldn't leave the theatre. It is because it is the end, not just of the movie but the end of an era. It is also a celebration. It is a celebration of the 10 years of hard work put in by each Marvel employee. It is not just the actors who have helped us make memories through our teenage, adulthood and every other phase.

So, stay back and live this moment with other MCU fans because we are becoming a part of history.

Avengers: Endgame releases tomorrow on April 26.
