Johar has told Pinkvilla exclusively that the movie will easily surpass a collection of Rs 150 crores by the end of its opening weekend. The non-holiday release is making sure Avengers: Endgame is not a mere release but a celebrations everyone will remember for decades to come.
"The occupancies are huge. The pre-bookings are fantastic. The spoiler-free reviews are so, so good. Given these factors, there is a possibility that Avengers: Endgame will enter the 150-crore club. It is going to record the highest non-holiday weekend, highest non-holiday start. It's going to be huge," he said.
Given that no major Bollywood movie is locking horns with the international movie proves that no one wants to come in the way of Avengers: Endgame's record-breaking box office journey, Johar added.
If these predictions come true, Avengers: Endgame will surpass the collections of Avengers: Infinity War's opening weekend box office collection with ease. Avengers: Infinity War collected about Rs 94 crore nett during its opening weekend run. Avengers: Endgame is tracking an opening weekend of almost double of Avengers: Infinity War in India.
