There is no denying that Vijay Deverakonda has a growing army of fans in the South. The Telugu actor, who caught everyone's fancy with Arjun Reddy, is taking over the weekend with his new Telugu movie Dear Comrade. The actor is seen sharing the screen with Rashmika Mandanna in the movie. Ahead of its release, the actors were spotted promoting the movie in several cities. The actors were spotted promoting the movie in Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai. During one such pre-release promotional event, Vijay had a crazy fan moment.
In a video that has surfaced from a recent pre-release event showcasing the actor addressing a huge crowd at an event. The Telugu star was discussing Dear Comrade when out of nowhere a fan ran for the actor and latched on to Vijay's feet. The actor was caught unaware and almost fell before people on the stage held on to him and helped him find his balance. Before you knew it, the fan was taken off stage.
The actor immediately asks the fan to get up and expressed his concerns. The actor was seen breaking the intense moment with a one-liner and eventually continuing with the event. Check out the videos below:
Dear Comrade releases today. The film hits the cinemas in four languages, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Filmmaker Karan Johar recently confirmed that Dear Comrade will be remade in Hindi. Karan tweeted, "No lead actors have been considered or approached for the film as yet! The planning for this lovely film is underway!" However, fans have been recommending many names for Vijay's role. The most popular choice being Shahid Kapoor, who recently filled Vijay's shoes in Arjun Reddy remake Kabir Singh.
