D23 Expo opened with Disney CEO Bob Iger hosting the 2019 Disney Legends Ceremony. Amongst those who became Disney Legends, we had Iron Man himself, Mr. Robert Downey Jr. The actor was in kindred spirits as he was given a befitting tribute, fit for the MCU godfather, who started the journey in 2008. While accepting his award, RDJ was welcomed with open arms by the thousands of fans present at the ceremony. In true Downey fashion, the actor delivered a speech that had us in hysterics.

However, the biggest revelation came when Robert revealed that he was once arrested for smoking pot in the happiest place on Earth aka Disneyland. "Here’s a bit of trivia for you; the very first time I went to Disneyland, I was transported to another place within moments of being arrested. I was brought to a surprisingly friendly processing center. Given a stern warning and returned... to one very disappointed group chaperone.." Furthermore, RDJ quipped that he would like to make amends for the person who had to contain him for "smoking pot in the gondola without a license."

"I’m sorry, I don’t want to further confuse the issue by insinuating that pot smoking licenses for the gondola are in any way attainable or for any of the other park attractions," and added, "Maybe the Imagineers but that’s their own business. That’s a load off."

Could we love this man more for his honesty while being a witty genius!
