Blake Lively & Priyanka Chopra share their past Emmys looks and now we wish they were a part of Emmys 2019
Blake Lively and Priyanka Chopra Jonas took a stroll down the memory lane on the occasion of Emmys 2019 to share their previous Emmy looks. The Gossip Girl alum shared pictures from a decade ago while The Sky Is Pink star shared a photo from her Emmys red carpet debut in 2016.
Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke, Zendaya and many other actresses turned heads at the Emmys 2019 as the purple carpet rolled out earlier today. While they did not fail to take our breath away, we have to admit, we missed two stunning divas at the awards function this year. Who are we talking about? Well, our eyes longed to see Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra Jonas walk the red carpet. Yes, yes, we know that they weren't in any TV show/series in the year gone by but you gotta admit, they take the red carpet game a notch higher.
Given their recent Instagram posts, it seems like they missed being at the Emmys as well. Blake took a trip down the memory lane and shared a few pictures from her Emmys outing about a decade ago. Yes, when she was Serena van der Woodsen on the small screen. The photos feature Blake with her Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester. She also shared a picture taken with her mother that year on the red carpet.
The actress had worn a stunning red gown for the event. She shared the picture with the caption, "10 years ago" with the episodes of "X" and hearts to denote the iconic "xoxo" from Gossip Girl.
On the other hand, Priyanka shared a picture and a video from both her two Emmy outings. The first picture featured the actress twirling in her breath-taking red gown which she wore when she presented an award with Tom Hiddleston. The video featured the actress twirling in white Balmain dress embellished with sequins and feathers. She shared the post and congratulated all the Emmys 2019 winners.
"Twirling through life... #emmys #throwback! Congratulations to all the nominees and the winners of the #71stPrimetimeEmmyAwards. As always...it was such a spectacular evening," she wrote.
