Scarlett Johansson would probably don the Black Widow for one last time for her first-ever stand-alone movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans are finally going to watch the badass female Avenger's story play out. While the majority of the movie's plotline is kept under the wrap, it was previously revealed that the movie would be set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Based on the description of the footage shown at Comic-Con a couple of weeks ago, it was also revealed that Natasha Romanoff will be seen in Budapest, Hungary.

Now, writer Jac Schaeffer has spilled some more beans about the upcoming Marvel movie. The writer spoke to Inverse and clarified that while the Civil War will be a part of the movie, the movie will focus more on Black Widow's adventures and not the Avengers. She also said that the superhero movie will shed light on the red in her ledger.

"[Black Widow] very much on her own and over the events of the Black Widow movie, she has to reckon with some of the red in her ledger," she said. This update teases the possibility of fans witnessing her joining SHIELD, among many other events. As per the footage showed at the SDCC, the movie features a couple of fight sequences starring Scarlett's Widow.

A fight breaks out between Widow and Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh) in the footage. Another scene shows Natasha running along with other agents. She is driving a car which smashed against a bridge. Romanoff is badly wounded, as the car burns. An unidentified person approaches her when she shoots the person to defend herself. The unidentified person pulls out a shield to stop the bullet. The footage also teased Black Widow's villain, The Taskmaster.
