It's official, Black Widow will be Marvel Studios' next movie. The first standalone movie based on Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow will be hitting the cinemas soon. Scarlett Johansson will be seen reprising her MCU role for the Marvel movie. Photos and videos from the filming sets have been surfacing online to show the actress suited up and on the move. Over the weekend, Scarlett and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige shed more light on the movie. The duo, with other Marvel Cinematic Universe actors, were seen at the San Diego Comic-Con wherein they discussed the MCU phase 4 movie.

The panel rolled out a clip from the upcoming MCU movie. Scarlett went on to discuss the movie with international publications at the event. Speaking to Comicbook.com, the actress addressed the chances that Black Widow could be her final movie in the MCU. Given that Black Widow died in Avengers: Endgame, the question was on everyone's mind. As expected, Scarlett gave a vague answer, adding that Marvel Studios would answer that question better.

"If I survive the shooting of this film, maybe," Johnsson joked. "That's the most vague answer I could possibly give," she added. The actress also recalled what she learned first: Black Widow's death or the solo movie? "Well, I guess, it may be sort of simultaneous? I don't know, all time is an illusion. It gets all blended together at this point ... but Kevin [Feige] may have been saying that just to soften the blow. I know how it goes!" she said.

Black Widow will be set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame. The movie is set in Budapest. The footage streamed at the event begins with Black Widow telling, "I used to have nothing. Then I got this job. This family. I was better because of it. I've made mistakes. I can't go back." The statement plays the background while the montages of Black Widow in the previous MCU movies were played on screen. The clip then goes on to show a few events from the new Black Widow movie.
