Billboard Music Awards 2019: Drake gives Game of Thrones' Arya Stark a shoutout during his winning speech
During his winning speech at the Billboard Music Awards 2019, Drake gave a shoutout to Game of Thrones' Arya Stark. Read below to know what Drake had to say.
It was an eventful night for the music industry in Las Vegas as the Billboard Music Awards 2019 took place. In attendance were the best and brightest including Taylor Swift, BTS and Drake. Drake was the man of the hour as the singer was nominated in 17 categories and managed to bag 12 of those awards. Currently, the Hotline Bling rapper has 27 Billboard Awards to his credit. This year, the biggest award of them all, which was Top Artist went to Drake. He beat major contenders like Ariana Grande and Cardi B, who were also nominated.
However, the talking point for Drake's win was his speech which had a reference to Game of Thrones, in paticular, Arya Stark. *SPOILERS ALERT* All GOT fans are still reeling from the aftermath of the Batlle of Winterfell which saw Arya Stark come out on top and kill The Night King. Many assumed that it would be Jon Snow or even Daenerys Targaryen, who would beat The Night King but such was not the case. One Arya Stark supporter is our very own Drake, who gave a shoutout to Arya during his winning speech.

After winning the Top Billboard 200 Album award, Drake stated, "Shout out to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week, ayy!"
We have to agree with Drake's comment! There is no one as savage and deadly as Arya Stark. We wonder how Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark in Game of Thrones would respond to the shoutout.

During his acceptance speech, Drake also profusely thanked the most important woman in his life - his mother. The rapper shared that his mother was there for him from the beginning and now, they are in "one hell of a ride."
