Beyonce shared a heartwarming picture of herself and Meghan Markle from The Lion King premiere and wrote words of encouragement.
All hail Beyonce! Queen Beyonce has backed her close friend Meghan Markle after her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey has created a rippling effect in the UK and the monarchy. While the UK public at large remains divided over the issue, several celebrities and personalities from across the world have backed Meghan and Prince Harry in their decision to leave the UK and as working royals. Beyonce is the latest one in that long list as the singer-songwriter took to her website to voice support for the Duchess of Sussex.
On Beyonce.com, the Halo singer shared a heartwarming picture of herself and Meghan Markle from The Lion King premiere. For the unversed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had attended The Lion King premiere back in July 2019 at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England.
Backing Meghan for her brave tell-all chat, Beyonce wrote, "Thank you, Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you."

Meghan and Harry's interview was a deep dive into their life as working members of the royal family. From receiving no support from the institution to the racist and brazen media coverage by the British tabloids, Harry and Meghan spilled it all in their first candid chat ever since their engagement. The aftermath of the interview has been equally ugly with the tabloids and a section of UK public lashing out at the couple.
