Ben Affleck & ex Jennifer Garner along with the kids had a SPECIAL someone at the pre Thanksgiving family trip
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted making their way to the theatres ahead of Thanksgiving day. The ex-couple was seen with their children.
Their divorce came through last year but that hasn't stopped Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have maintained a cordial relationship. The ex-couple has been spotted together with their children - Samuel Garner Affleck, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck and Violet Affleck - on several occasions. This Thanksgiving was just another opportunity to see the family reunite. Paparazzi caught the family kicking off their Thanksgiving celebrations with a movie outing a day before the fest. And the family of five had a special guest tagging along.
The photos of their mid-week outing revealed Jennifer, Ben and the children were joined by Ben's mother Christine Anne Boldt. For their day out, Jennifer sported a camel colour cardigan with a black and white striped shirt over a pair of denim pants. Affleck wore a bright blue tee with grey overcoat and a pair of denim.
Jennifer was seen engrossed in a conversation with 13-year-old Violet 13. The duo sported a contagious smile as they made their way into the movies. Ben was busy catching up with his 10-year-old daughter Seraphina. Jennifer and Ben's seven-year-old son was seen holding his granny Boldt's hand in the pictures.
Their recent spotting comes weeks after Ben relapsed during Halloween. Videos of the actor wearing a mask and struggling to walk straight made its way to social media. The former Batman star was seen attending the UNICEF Masquerade Ball when the incident took place. A source told People, "Ben is very honest that he isn’t perfect. He didn’t try to make any excuses. He was just very clear that he doesn’t want to keep drinking. He wants to be sober. Staying sober is constant work for Ben. Sometimes he makes terrible decisions. But he wants to be the best dad to his kids."
On the work front, Ben will soon be seen in The Way Back where he plays a basketball coach struggling with alcohol abuse. The trailer released a few weeks ago and it was as real as it could get. Check it out below:
