After battling addiction and remaining sober for over a year, actor Ben Affleck is looking at getting back into the dating game. The Batman star, who battled alcoholism, sought treatment and checked himself into rehab for a third time last year and since completing his stay, Ben has managed to stay clean. According to reports, Ben Affleck has been doing better than ever after he underwent rehab for a 40-day period in 2018. Now, the Caped Crusader has turned to a dating app to find love and is ready to dive right into it. As per a Page Six report, Affleck has been relying on celeb-friendly app to find dates.
A source told the publication, "He (Affleck) seems to want a real partner and is not looking to date a celebrity. He is private and is in a good space right now. He has his kids and is focusing on work, but is ready to be in love again." Affleck, who has three kids with actress and ex-wife Jennifer Garner, has kept his children at the centre of all things.
Apart from finding love on a dating app, Affleck was also spotted on a date with a couple of weeks ago at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. "It seemed innocent, like a first date. He was in a good mood, and they both seemed really into each other," a source told the publication. The news comes months after the actor and 'Saturday Night Live' producer Lindsay Shookus broke up after a serious relationship.
Actress Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck got divorced last year after separating from 2015. They have, however, maintained a cordial relationship and are moving forward as committed parents.
