Before Batman, Robert Pattinson stars in The Lighthouse and the trailer just dropped; Check it out
Robert Pattinson will be seen as a lighthouse keeper in his next release, The Lighthouse. The actor is seen with Aquaman star Willem Dafoe, struggling to survive in the lighthouse.
Confession time, we are eager to watch Robert Pattinson don the Batman cape. Ever since Warner Bros confirmed that the Twilight actor will fill Ben Affleck's shoes and become the new Batman. But before we could get the first look of the actor as the Batman, the actor is going back into time for a chilling movie titled The Lighthouse. The actor joins Aquaman star Willem Dafoe in the Robert Eggers directorial. The movie's first trailer just released and it shows the two actors struggling to survive.
The movie, as the title suggests, is set in a lighthouse. The lighthouse is set on a rock amidst troubled waters in New England. Set in the 1980s, the mysterious and remote lighthouse hosts the keepers who share moments of joy as they drink together, cut away from the world as they dance with joy before things turn dark and gloomy that results in the duo fighting and hallucinating. The chilling trailer leaves you asking several questions.
How did they reach there? How long have they been cutaway? Will they survive the storm? These questions will be answered once the movie releases in October. The filmmaking of the brilliant Eggers is teased in the trailer. The black and white video teases old school filmmaking.
