The Batman: Nicki Minaj as Catwoman in the Robert Pattinson starrer? Singer says she's game
After it was revealed that Robert Pattinson has been roped in to play the new Batman in Matt Reeves' The Batman, fans want Nicki Minaj to star as the Catwoman. The singer is ready to essay the role.
It has been a few weeks since DC fans were informed that DCEU will feature a new Batman. Warner Bros had confirmed that Twilight fame Robert Pattinson would be filling the shoes of Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight. The actor will be the second-youngest actor to play Batman in the DC universe. Matt Reeves is given the helm of the project. While it was reported that Reeves has begun the pre-production work on The Batman, the remaining cast of the movie is yet to be announced.
While everyone's keeping a close watch on the villains of the movie, fans are interested in knowing if Catwoman would feature in the movie. If she does, some fans have a cast recommendation that Reeves could consider. A few fans expressed their interest in watching international singer Nicki Minaj play the Catwoman in the Reeves directorial.
It all began when Nicki shared a glimpse of her animated role from Angry Birds on Instagram. The singer voices Pinky in the movie. Several fans took to the comments section to share their eagerness over watching her new movie. However, a fan expressed his interest in watching Nicki slip into the Catsuit for Catwoman. "next thing big movies got to see you play the next catwoman dope congrats (sic)," the comment read. Responding to which, Nicki said, "I’m ready. Ha!"
Following the comment, many fans agreed she would be great Catwoman. "That would be the most epic cat woman," a comment read. "CATWOMAN ‼️ that would be epic asf !!" another comment read.
This isn't the first time an actress's name fans have nominated for Catwoman. Pattinson's ex-flame Kristen Stewart was also a fan choice. Vanessa Hudgens and Aubrey Plaza were other recommendations.
