Batman: Jonah Hill to play THIS iconic DC villain in the Robert Pattinson starrer?

One of the most exciting lineups in the world of Hollywood is Matt Reeves' version of Batman. After Ben Affleck hung up the boots of the Caped Crusader, Matt has cast Robert Pattinson as the next Batman, which got a lot of tongues wagging! While some were supportive of Robert's casting, there were some who questioned the decision to have the Twilight (2008) star as the next Batman! However, Pattinson will very much be our next Batman. For every superhero, there's a mega villain and it looks like Reeves has his eyes set on two-time Oscar winner, Jonah Hill.

According to Collider, Jonah will be playing the main villain who Robert's Batman will have to collide within the movie. But which villain will Hill be taking up? Many have speculated that the actor may take up the role of Penguin. However, if Collider's report is to be believed, Jonah is being approached to play the role of Riddler. Earlier, Riddler was played by Jim Carrey in Val Kilmer's Batman Forever (1995). However, the 35-year-old actor is still very much in talks with Matt and has yet to sign on the dotted line. On the other hand, No Time to Die star Jeffrey Wright will be seen as Commissioner Gordon.

Meanwhile, according to several reports, Robert will kickstart shooting for Batman from November 2019 with the main location being Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017), Wonder Woman (2017) and Wonder Woman 1984 were primarily shot in this studio.

Batman is slated to release on June 25, 2021.
