Batman actor Robert Pattinson shoots for Christopher Nolan's Tenet as Matt Reeves preps for the DC film
Before he could don the Batman suit, Robert Pattinson is filming for Christopher Nolan's Tenet. Meanwhile, director Matt Reeves is preparing for the new Batman movie.
All eyes are set on Robert Pattinson. The actor has caught everyone's attention after Warner Bros and DC Films announced that the Twilight actor will be filling the shoes of Ben Affleck to play the next Batman. But before he could don the cape for the Matt Reeves directorial, the actor is involved in another big project. For the unversed, Pattinson will be seen in Christopher Nolan's next. The ace filmmaker has just begun the filming of Tenet. The brief synopsis describes the movie as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.”
The actor's role in the movie is still a mystery. However, set photos from the filming have surfaced online featuring the actor on the move, We Got This Covered reports. Robert sports a formal look for this movie. He was seen sporting a pair of grey pants, a dark blue shirt with a matching tie. The actor was filming with Academy Award nominee John David Washington. The filming for the spy thriller is reportedly taking place in the streets of Estonia.
Estonia is one of the several locations Nolan has picked to film his first movie since Dunkirk. The cast and crew of Tenet are expected to arrive in India to film a crucial fight sequence in Mumbai. Apart from Pattinson and Washington, the movie features Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clemence Poesy, Kenneth Branagh and Michael Caine.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Reeves has dived into the pre-production phase. The movie has changed its status to pre-production to IMDb Pro. A fan shared a screengrab announcing, "The Batman is officially in pre-production!"

The Batman is slated to release on June 25, 2021. Meanwhile, Tenet is set to release on 17 July 2020.
