Avengers: Endgame's Anthony & Joe Russo to get the Publicists’ Motion Picture Showman of the Year Award
Avengers: Endgame's Anthony and Joe Russo will be honoured with the Publicists Motion Picture Showman of the Year Award from International Cinematographers Guild (ICG).
Avengers: Endgame's Anthony and Joe Russo will be honoured with the Publicists Motion Picture Showman of the Year Award from International Cinematographers Guild (ICG). The film, Avengers: Endgame became the box office king across the globe by dethroning James Cameron's film Avatar. The director duo of the film, Avengers: Endgame, Anthony and Joe Russo will be receiving the honour for this year's award function. The award function is expected to be held on February 7 at International Cinematographers Guild's yearly Publicists Awards.
The function will be held at Beverly Hilton. According to Lewis Rothenberg, National President of the ICG, the Avengers: Endgame's Anthony and Joe Russo have made history as their Marvel Cinematic Universe’s film Avengers: Endgame became the highest grossing film in the world. Lewis Rothenberg has also said that the director duo has helped new talent come into the industry and their skills are remarkable. The director duo's talent and contributions to the field of cinema must be honoured. The films which were made by Anthony and Joe Russo till date have managed to earn $6.8 billion so far and that is a very significant achievement by the director duo.
Anthony and Joe Russo have also launched their own company AGBO studious. The studios owned by Anthony and Joe Russo have made the film called Mosul which is helmed by director Matthew Michael Carnahan. Avengers: Endgame's Anthony and Joe Russo will be taking the director's spot for the film called Cherry which will feature Spider Man: Far From Home actor Tom Holland in the lead role.
