Avengers: Endgame of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's epic film, saw two of the four original Avengers die tragically to defeat Thanos and save the world from his actions. But ever since the fans have seen both such great Avengers die in the film, fans have been wondering if Iron Man and Black Widow could have been saved by traveling back in time with the same time travel route. The common feelings felt after Black Widow’s end is that it would not happen as their deaths happened for Black Widow to get the Soul Stone and for Tony Stark to kill Thanos.

However, in the time travel version introduced in Avengers Endgame film, it looks possible to get these two Avengers back to life and the key is Gamora. Avengers Infinity War film you one remembers vividly had Gamora sacrificed by Thanos to get the Soul Stone in the year 2018, but a 2014 version Gamora ended up in 2023 towards the end of Endgame very much alive.

This is not a past version of Gamora, but it is an alternate one from a new timeline altogether. Hulk had also said that real-time travel isn’t like as easy as being back to the future. One can't really change what happened in the past. Instead, when the Avengers go back in time, they traveled back in time via the Quantum Realm, which created a new version of their past lives where they can go and make a new future that never really happened. This could be done without changing the one they have come from.
