Avengers: Endgame: Captain Marvel writer DISLIKED this change to Carol Danvers' character in MCU movie

Avengers: Endgame saw several changes. Chris Evans' Captain America returned to his clean-shaven look after his nomad look in Avengers: Infinity War. An older version of Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark aka Iron Man was also presented. Chris Hemsworth's Thor put on a few kilos and flaunted a beer belly. Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow saw a few hairstyle changes, Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye had a mohawk look whereas Mark Ruffalo's The Hulk transformed into Professor Hulk. We could go on but you get our point. Most transformations were welcomed with open arms. But fans criticised Brie Larson's portrayed Captain Marvel's look in the movie. 

The superhero sported a new suit in the movie. She also had a haircut, reducing the length of her hair massively. The step was supposed to pay homage to the character in the comic books. However, it did not have a successful result. The new look wasn't like by all. Fans had taken to social media to comment about her new look. Now, Captain Marvel writer has expressed his dislike over Carol Danvers' short hairdo. 

Speaking to ComicBook.com, Captain Marvel writer Kelly Sue DeConnick didn't even want to talk about the look in the first place. When the topic came up, she said, "Agggghhhh the hair! All right, go ahead," before adding Captain Marvel producer Mary Livanos added that they "were not involved in the decision making about her hair."

It has been assumed that Captain Marvel's short hairdo is the superhero's real hairdo. However, Kelly challenged it. "I would fight you for calling that her real haircut. We’re pistols at dawn, you and I," she reacted. Oh boy, we're not bringing up that question ever again. Unfortunately, since Captain Marvel did not have too much to do in Avengers: Endgame, fans could only discuss her looks post its release. We hope that Marvel Studios manages to fix it in the future (if there are more Captain Marvel movies in line.)
