Avengers: Endgame actor Anthony Mackie was completely clueless about a line he had said to Chris Evans aka Captain America. In In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the actor said the dialogue without knowing how the directors will use it in the film. This comes as a surprise to everyone as the actors are aware of this. But, in the case of Anthony Mackie, it so happened that the actor never got his hands on the complete script. The scene where Captain America is seen jogging and goes past Anthony's character was said by The Hurt Locker actor without having any clue how it will reflect in the film.
What is even more interesting is that Anthony Mackie has stated that the line was actually recorded after shooting a scene, since the audio for that dialogue was done post the shooting the actor did not know where it will be used. The actor further adds that they have also made use of computer generated imagery for the scene.
It was also believed that Anthony who was in New Orleans got a call from the Russo Brothers who requested him to record a dialogue after the scene was already shot. Hence, there was little room left for Anthony Mackie to know where that line would be placed in the film. Also, now Anthony Mackie would be replacing Chris Evans as the new Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the fans cannot wait to see the magic Anthony brings on big screen.
