Angelina Jolie admits 'last few years haven't been the easiest'; Is she hinting at her split with Brad Pitt?
Angelina Jolie was seen at D23 Expo this weekend. She was attending the event to be a part of The Eternals and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
Angelina Jolie has had a few rough years lately. The actress has been in the news for her personal life since 2017. From filing for divorce from Brad Pitt to struggling with the custody battle for her six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, she has had a lot on her plate. Reports about her deteriorating health (mentally and physically) have been making the headlines. However, Angelina recently confessed that she is pushing yourself to be stronger.
Angelina was spotted at the D23 Expo, where her upcoming Marvel movie The Eternal's concept art was being revealed, where she spilled the beans about her personal struggle. Speaking to E! News, she addressed her tough few years and said that the past few years haven't been easy on her. She added that she hasn't "felt very strong" either.
But, she said, "There's something when you're not feeling very strong, where you push yourself. And I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to play these kind of characters, that pull out every bit of strength I have and that remind me that I can be strong." She shared her thoughts referring to Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and The Eternals. While she reprises her role as the Maleficent 2, she debuts as the superhero Thena in Eternals.
"Sometimes you really feel low and you gotta pull it back up. Right now, for Thena, I'm having to do so much training and she's so positive, so healthy and she's so aggressive that I'm often like, 'This is not gonna work.' But, you gotta push yourself," she added. Angelina's wicked new look from Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was revealed in new footage at the Expo this weekend. On the other hand, she looked surreal in the concept art of The Eternals.
The actress was also in the news earlier this week for she was seen dropping off her son, Maddox in South Korea where he will be attending biochemistry classes in Yonsei University. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
