Kate Middleton and her first child Prince George had a field day when the mother-son duo came together to click some adorable pictures on George's sixth birthday. The Duchess of Cambridge popped out her camera for her son who turned six on 22 July. In continuing tradition of the royal family sharing portraits on their kids' birthday, the new photos showed Prince George flashing his toothy grin in carefree pictures. The official Kensington Royal social media pages shared three photos and wished George a happy birthday.
The young prince can be seen sporting England's football jersey in the palace gardens and an undated photo shows him on a family holiday. The caption on the pictures read, " Happy Birthday Prince George! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness's sixth birthday. This photograph was taken recently in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace by The Duchess of Cambridge. Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages!"

Prince George is third in line to the throne behind his grandfather Prince Charles and his father Prince William. As per tradition, Kate Middleton is known to release birthday snapshots including portraits of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis which were taken earlier this year.
