EXO member Chanyeol confirmed to enlist in the military in March
EXO‘s Chanyeol will reportedly be the fifth member of the group to enlist in the military.
It's that time in a K Pop idol's life, which fans are most sad about, Military enlistment. Chanyeol is confirmed to be the fifth member of the group to enlist in the military. Xiumin and D.O. have both completed their military service, while Chen and Suho are currently enlisted and fulfilling their military duties.
According to an exclusive report from Sports Seoul via Soompi, On February 26, SM Entertainment confirmed that Chanyeol will be enlisting as an active-duty soldier on March 29. SM Entertainment continued, "His enlistment location and time will not be revealed, and no special events will take place.” This news comes right after, Chanyeol's sweet letter dedicated to EXO L. Fans are surprised by the suddenness of the news but are in complete support of Chanyeol.
On February 25, the talented rapper took to EXO's fan community to share a heartfelt letter dedicated to fans, his first since a personal scandal last year. EXO-L extended their support for Chanyeol, as the star maintained dignified silence throughout. Now, after four months, Chanyeol posted a letter dedicated to EXO-L, apologising for causing them concern. He sincerely apologised to EXO-L for causing them concern, and thanked fans for standing by him since his debut, and promise to not let down the faith and belief, EXO-L has entrusted upon him since his debut.
