England vs New Zealand, ICC World Cup 2019: Kane Williamson & Trent Boult are Key NZ players to watch out for

New Zealand cricket team that ranks third in the points table will encounter the hosts after getting defeated by the defending champions, Australia in their previous match of the tournament. New Zealand, who had been in an exceptional form in the beginning of the tournament, faced two back to back defeats (against Pakistan and Australia). However, the Kane Williamson led side will look forward to gain their momentum back in the match. Let’s have a look at their key players.
1. Kane Williamson- With two centuries in the tournament so far, it wouldn’t be wrong to conclude that the team’s batting line-up revolves heavily around the New Zealand skipper. New Zealand’s batting crumbled miserably against the Aussies and the team were unable to get past 160. Kane Williamson’s 40 was the highest score by a batsman from the New Zealand side in that match which the team eventually lost by 86 runs. Williamson also holds the record of highest batting average (113.50) in the tournament so far.
2. Trent Boult- Despite the team’s humiliating loss against the Aussies, it was Trent Boult who claimed four wickets and fought back from the NZ side. In his 10-over spell, he managed to give only 51 runs and picked up four wickets in a low scoring game. Against West Indies, Trent Bout with his exceptional bowling spell helped the team restrict their explosive batsmen to a total of 286 runs. Boult claimed four wickets with an economy of 3.00 in that clash.
