England vs India, ICC World Cup 2019: Key players from the Men in Blue to watch out for

The Men in Blue has been extremely dominating in the World Cup and is the only unbeaten team in the tournament so far. With 11 points in their six matches so far, the team ranks second in the points table, only behind Australia. This clash between India and England may decide the fate of a lot of teams in the race for semi-finals. Let’s have a look at the key players from the Virat Kohli’s led Men in Blue side.

1. Virat Kohli- With four consecutive half centuries in the tournament, the Indian skipper is definitely the most consistent and reliable batsman for the team. He smashed a brilliant 72 runs of 82 deliveries against West Indies and 67 off 63 deliveries against the Afghans. On both the occasions, the Indian team struggled with their crumbling batting line-up where the Skipper stood up and took the charge to become the highest run-scorer for the team. India will rely heavily on his batting and will look forward to register some solid runs on board against the English bowlers.

2. Mohammed Shami- This Indian fast bowler has proved his worth in the tournament with his outstanding contribution in the bowling department. With a hat-trick against the Afghans, Shami led the team victorious in that match. Against West Indies, Shami yet again claimed 4 wickets and is now one of the most reliable bowlers in the squad. In his 6.2 over spell, Shami gave away just 16 runs and claimed four wickets with a low economy of 2.53.
