England takes on India at Birmingham today

After Saturday’s doubleheader, the ICC Cricket World Cup will give cricket fans as exciting Sunday with number one and two ranked teams locking horns at Birmingham. The Indian cricket team, having recently gained the top ODI ranking, will face the former top-ranked and current second best, England in the match number 38 of the tournament.

The hosts were well on top, however, after horrible outings in the last two matches, they are in threat of not making it to the semifinals.

The Eoin Morgan-led side will have to at least win one out of the remaining two games to remain alive. While India is unbeaten in the tournament so far. They would be eyeing to extend their winning run as they take the field on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the expected weather and pitch conditions for the match.

Weather forecast

The weather is expected to be pleasant in Birmingham tomorrow. There aren’t chances of a downpour, hence sun will be making its way at the venue. The temperature also will be quite good at around 20 to 25 celsius.

Pitch conditions

The last match at Edgbaston was a nightmare for batsmen while a delighting one for spinners. There was a huge turn on offer, especially in the second innings. The same could be the case tomorrow if the same strip was used.
