The actress Go Ara made her highly-anticipated return to the k-drama world with October 2020’s Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, in which she can be seen playing the lead in the role of Goo Ra-Ra who is introduced as a pianist. While the character begins her journey as a musician with a lively personality on the show, soon enough a crisis takes over and the artist faces bankruptcy.
While viewers were hooked on to the show for several reasons, the obvious one being the peak of lockdown amidst the pandemic at the time of the show’s release. However, fans were glued to their screens for many other reasons. While the plot, storyline, charming cast and intriguing direction were all thrilling, we got a kick out of the character’s chic yet practical aesthetic. While her wealthier and high-fashion lifestyle takes over in the first few episodes of the show, as the drama progresses, fans were blessed with more comfortable yet chic wardrobe choices.
While we loved both the styles on her, what we loved more was her naive and innocent take on veery look. The character was spoiled by her father, and Ra Ra often dressed like a princess with her flouncy skirts, frill details, and pastel-coloured outfits. This style fit her bubbly, kindhearted, and innocent personality perfectly. And some would even argue that her innocence is what made Joon, (Lee Jae Wook) a handsome, responsible young man fall in love with her.
