Tale Of The Nine Tailed premieres with IMPRESSIVE ratings; Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol off to slow start

It was a hard decision to make for K-drama lovers in South Korea on Wednesday night as a number of new Wednesday-Thursday dramas premiered on October 7. Tale Of The Nine-Tailed, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol and Private Lives aired their first episode last night. The rating card has revealed which of these shows captured the audience's attention and which ones were off to a slow start. Off the three shows, Tale Of The Nine-Tailed recorded most impressive ratings on Wednesday.
According to Neilson Korea, via Soompi, the tvN drama starring Lee Dong Wook, Kim Bum and Jo Bo Ah witnessed an average nationwide rating of 5.8 per cent. Interestingly, it has surpassed the finale ratings of Flower of Evil - also the series' personal best rating - which was airing in the same slot until last week. The recently concluded show witnessed a 5.7 rating for its finale.
While Tale Of The Nine-Tailed is off on a great start, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol and Private Lives began to a comparatively lower rating. The KBS rom-com, starring Go Ara and Lee Jae Wook in the lead, witnessed an average nationwide rating of 1.9 and 2.6 per cent with the series premiere episode. As for Private Lives, the JTBC drama starring Seohyun, Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Hyo Jin, and Kim Young Min in the lead recorded nationwide ratings of 2.5 per cent.
