According to Melon's data, On March 14, Jimin's solo song Filter, from their fourth studio album, Map Of The Soul:7, surpassed 115 million streams on Melon! It has set the record as the first and only Korean solo song by an idol group to achieve such a feat. Now, on March 16, Jimin has set a new record!
Jimin's solo song Filter, from the septet's fourth studio album, Map Of The Soul:7 completed one full year on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart today. That's not all, Jimin's non-album single, Promise, garnered 263 million streams on Sound Cloud too. ARMY are ecstatic and have taken over worldwide Twitter trends with keywords like, 'Congratulations Jimin', 'Proud Of You Jimin' and 'Filter 1 Year On Billboard' has been trending steadily on Twitter.
Filter released on February 21, 2020, and appears as the eighth track in their fourth studio album Map of the Soul: 7. Filter has a sensuous, Latin vibe and Jimin's angelic vocals uplift the song to newer heights. Jimin performed Filter on BTS' online concert, Map Of The Soul- ON: E. Meanwhile, BTS is all set to make their variety show appearance on tvN's 99th episode of You Quiz On The Block. The BTS special episode will air on March 24 at 8:40 pm KST.
