Box Office Occupancy Report: MI6 start off with a good note, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 gets low opening rate
Today, Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Saheb Biwi and Gangster 3 have hit the screens. According to Box Office India, MI6 opened on a good note and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 has got a dull start.
The sixth instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise Mission: Impossible – Fallout has finally released in India today. According to Box Office India, it had an excellent 35-40% occupancy rate in the morning shows.
Trade analyst Girish Johar told Indian Express that the Tom Cruise starrer will be one of the top three Hollywood openers in India after Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool.
He told the leading daily, "Releasing in more than 1300 screens, the film is expected to open with Rs 10 crore collection and it might also lead this weekend at the ticket counters."
He added, "Mission: Impossible – Fallout has got fabulous reviews in the West. Everyone has gone ahead to call the film one the best MI film. The pre-release buzz around the movie is quite high."
Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is the third film of the franchise and has hit the screens today. The film features Sanjay Dutt, Mahie Gill, Kabir Bedi, Jimmy Sheirgill and Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles.
Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 had a low 5% opening while Nawabzaade hardly has any collections.
