In the US, Avengers: Endgame is predicted to record an opening weekend collection of $270 million to $300 million, The Hollywood Reporter notes. It also reveals that the movie will unfurl in 4,600 theaters, which is the widest release ever.
Given these stats, it is difficult to rule out the possibility that Avengers: Endgame will record $1 billion at the worldwide box office within a week. When you compare it to Avengers: Infinity War, the 2018-release took about 11 days to enter the $1 billion-club.
