It's not even been a week and BLACKPINK have another record in their kitty. According to Soompi, the official music video for Kill This Love surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube around 12:38 am KST on February 9. Kill This Love was released on April 5, 2019 at 12 am KST, which means that it took about one year, 10 months, and 4 days to reach the milestone. This marks a strew of records that BLACKPINK now has under their belt.
The Pretty Savage hitmakers are the first K-Pop group to have two music videos with over 1.2 billion views. Their first music video to break the record DDU-DU DDU-DU, is sitting pretty with over 1.4 billion views on YouTube. Kill This Love is also now the fastest K-pop group music video to surpass 1.2 billion views.
