Australian Coach, Justin Langer believes England’s Jos Buttler is the new MS Dhoni of the cricket world
South Africa is out of the tournament and ranks second last in the points table. Proteas’ skipper, Faf du Plessis blames IPL for team’s poor performance in the tournament.
Australia who ranks second in the points table will face the English players tomorrow at Lord’s cricket ground. Ahead of this big cash, the Australian head coach, Justin Langer was full of praises for Jos Buttler and appreciated his ability of being able to perform under pressure.
Langer said that Jos is an unbelievable player and he loves watching him bat. He also mentioned that he is the new MS Dhoni of the cricket world. However, he also admitted that he hopes Jos gets a duck in Tuesday’s encounter, but he saw him at Somerset and knows that he is an unbelievable athlete and an incredible finisher. He added that England has a strong batting unit and Australia will have to be right on it.
Even though England ranks fourth on the points table currently, Langer feels that they are the best team in the world. "They are the best team in the world. Just look at their team... nothing has changed in a week. I can't wait for Tuesday -- England at Lord's, World Cup. That is what we are thinking about," he added.
England cricket team that currently ranks fourth in the table received a major blow as they lost to Sri Lanka by 20 runs in the tournament. Previously, they lost to the Men in Green earlier in the tournament. However, this Eoin Morgan led side will look forward to gain their momentum back and register a win against the Aussies.
