Actor Jo Byung Gyu's school bullying controversy continues; New posts resurface alleging aggression
Just as his school violence controversy was settling down, another netizen appears claiming to be a victim of Jo Byung Gyu’s bullying.
The suspicions of school violence levied on actor Jo Byung Gyu, which was initiated by the revelation of a Netizen who attended the same high school as Jo Byung Gyu, was settled after his agency decided to take legal actions. The Netizen apparently contacted the agency and confessed that the post was falsified. However, right when this controversy was about to wrap up, another victim, who said, "I was threatened by Jo Byung Gyu in elementary school," reignited the controversy.
On the 17th of February, 2021 at around 3 PM KST, another Netizen posted online, claiming to be a victim of Jo Byung Gyu’s school violence. He said that he was prepared for a 'legal battle' with Jo Byung Gyu. He mentioned instances when the actor and his friends would snatch their soccer ball and use the field forcing others to leave the grounds. The Netizen who calls himself the “younger brother of a female classmate whom Ju Byung Gyu had harassed” said that he was ready to engage in a legal battle if the agency takes action.
On the same day at around 8 PM KST, another post was found. The poster said that the previous posts were false and the actor was not a school bully. The Netizen also claimed that others were just jealous of Jo Byung Gyu’s fame. After that post, no more Netizens have come up to expose the actor's past’. The second poster has remained silent till now.
