Actor Ji Soo begs for forgiveness in a handwritten letter; Filming for River Where The Moon Rises cancelled
Actor Ji Soo accepts assault and bullying allegations, pens a handwritten note seeking forgiveness for his unpardonable behaviour.
One of the most shocking scandals to rock the Korean Entertainment industry in recent times has to be that of Actor Ji Soo. For those uninitiated, actor Ji Soo of River Where The Moon Rises fame was accused of school violence and sexual assault by his former classmate. An online post, by an anonymous user, who claims to be Ji Soo's classmate from Seorabeol Middle School between 2006 and 2008, claimed that the actor was a delinquent and a bully during his school years. The actor was also accused of being a sexual perpetrator and a 'womaniser'. Many other netizens have accused him of being a bully and delinquent too.
Yesterday, actor Ji Soo's agency Keyeast Entertainment released a statement stating that they are probing into the matter and will be verifying facts without any bias. Now, the actor has spoken for the first time since the controversy broke out and accepted the allegations levelled against him. In a handwritten note, shared on his Instagram via Soompi, he begged for forgiveness to the victims as well as his fans. He admitted to feeling guilty about his past behaviour since he got famous and was crushed about his dark past. He promised to reflect upon and repent of his past behaviour. He also apologised for inflicting tremendous damage upon the cast and crew of his sageuk drama, River Where The Moon Rises.

Meanwhile, according to a report carried out by YTN news, a representative from KBS shared that the filming of River Where The Moon Rises scheduled for today has been cancelled in light of Ji Soo's school violence controversy. The broadcast network and producers will be holding a meeting to decide on their next course of action. Filming is reported to resume on March 5.
